Join us for the second annual “Lantern Walk” on Sunday, December 2nd from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., featuring a guided tour of four Swiss Avenue homes highlighting Dallas’ holiday traditions in the early 20th century. 


Costumed docents will take guests on a tour of homes, including the historic Aldredge House, where they will be treated to drinks and hors d’oeuvres and hear fascinating stories about the holiday season on Swiss Avenue in the 1900s.


Town criers leading the Lantern Walk tours will recall holiday celebrations that took place on Swiss Avenue in the years preceding the outbreak of World War I. There will also be trolley bus available.


Join us on Wednesday, October 31st for Halloween at Aldredge House.
There will be candy to pass out & refreshments for volunteers.

Set up will be begin at 5:00 pm with the first arrivals around 5:30 pm.
Lights off at 9:00 pm - or when the candy runs out !
